Watching the Eastern Conference Finals this year is like watching the 2018 Super Bowl; there is no good outcome. However I must admit, watching these two teams at highs and lows during the series has been remarkably fun.
We went from this guy being the “Wizard of Boston,”
to Tim Legler last night questioning his defensive schemes. I will call erroneous
on that count, but all that really matters is that the tide is turning in the series.
Boston players and fans alike will tell you that they are still the favorites, pointing at home-field advantage and the energy of the TD Garden. Still, there is a reason why a LeBron James led team has made the Finals in 7 consecutive seasons.
Hate him or love him, LeBron does not quit. He does not fold. He does not surrender.
Game 5 tomorrow night sets up for an extraordinary event no matter what team you are rooting for. The Celtics will need every ounce of energy of the crowd to try and disrupt the King’s men. Because at the end of the day, you know LeBron will be coming out swinging with everything he has.
