T minus 5 hours until the Browns are on the clock and over 250 new players will join the Nationals Football League. Here are the big story-lines to watch.
The QB Situation
This Draft Class as many know is jam packed with QBs and many could be capable starters for years to come. Who will go where now is the question? Well at 1 it was either Allen or Darnold but now there are reports that Mayfield is in the mix. This is not a drill.
Browns continue to keep the decision on their No. 1 pick a secret, but there is a mounting belief from HCs and GMs around the league that Cleveland will take Baker Mayfield.

More teams will look to trade up for their guy or trade down to teams that are desperate. One thing to keep an eye on is that I personally could see Rosen falling big time.
The Giants are in a prime position for success. They could grab Barkley and make that offense full of firepower. They could trade down and get a buttload of picks. They could take Bradley Chubb or Quenton Nelson and sure up the D Line or O Line. They may even take a QB to groom. The Giants may be the biggest wild card in the draft.
The Seahawks have fallen from the top of the league where they had been for the past 5 years. They now will need to stockpile talent and retool and rebuild this squad. Gone are the days of the Legion of Boom and it’s time to move on. The best thing for them? Unlike other teams that rebuild, they already have a elite QB in Russel Wilson. Will they trade down? Or Up? Or Trade Earl Thomas? Maybe Even Kam Chancellor? Seattle needs help and they will need to plan the best way to utilize the draft for major prosperity.
Risers and Fallers
Josh Rosen as I mentioned earlier could be taken as high as two or as low as 15 at this point. I personally like Rosen, I just think he is a little self absorbed, but that won’t matter if he becomes one of the next great QBs. Denzel Ward has shot up draft boards recently and now looks primed to go as high as 4 and maybe as low as 14. Ward has shocked some people and looks like a guaranteed first rounder now. Minkah Fitzpatrick on the other hand may fall big time do to his versatility. Who would have thought versatility could be a thing to hurt someone. Minkah could go as high as 5 and as low as 18 at this point.
Guys To Watch After Day One
Day One always produces the most stars but don’t underestimate Friday night and Saturday. Antonio Brown, Dak Prescott, Tom Brady and Russel Wilson are just a few of the names to transform themselves from Day 2 & 3 picks to elite players. I plan on doing a article on this later but two names to watch for? Mike Gesicki TE PSU who I currently have as a first rounder but could fall into someone’s lap in the early second round. Another is Mike Hughes CB UCF, he has shot up my draft board and is similar to Adoree Jackson of the Titans and is a guy that looks like a potential steal for a team.
