With over 100 Million in spending money the Jets would be able to go wild and Maccaganan said they will be very active. Expect them to be in on Cousins but he’ll probably sign with Denver or Arizona if he leaves DC. The Jets need a couple corners, some o-line help, and a edge rusher along with a QB, and depth at D-Line. The first guy the Jets should target is corner Trumane Johnson.
Johnson would get paid like a number one corner and be a huge asset and a good player to pair with Claiborne, Adams and Maye in our secondary.
Another big addition would be a guy like Ezekiel Ansah.
Ansah is a beast and could slide right in with “Big Cat” Leonard Willams and Kony Ealy next season as another rusher. The Jets should also go after guard Andrew Norwell from the Panthers. Norwell had a spectacular season, getting a pro bowl selection and could earn All Pro honors. He would command money if the Panthers let him go but would make our o-line very talented.
The last guy the Jets should target is NT Dontari Poe. He’s a big body with league wide respect and would fit in nicely.
