What would you do if you won a million dollars during week 1?

The reason I ask is because that’s how much I like my FanDuel squad this week. Not to brag, but I’m pretty good at finding the right players under a salary cap and win some money because of it. So sit back relax and watch yourself bank some coin during football season taking my picks.

Derek Carr – ($7,700) I love getting guys like Derek in week 1. Everyone is obsessing about their drafts still and forget that Carr was a very serviceable QB last year. And you know who Derek faces in week 1? The Saints! I’m pretty sure they’ve given up the most points in the league since I was born and haven’t had a decent cornerback or existent pass rush since the birth of Christ.

Spencer Ware – ($5,400) All signs point to Ware as the lead back while Jamaal Charles is sidelined. He is cheap, is running in a great system and carved up defenses in Charles absence last year. I’m not only starting him in FanDuel, but also in every league I was lucky to grab him in.

Deangelo Williams – ($7,100) The biggest benefactor of pot smoke since Willie Nelson will once again prove to the National Football League that he is no joke. Deangelo will not be this cheap next week, I can assure you that. This is just another case of ignorant price placement. The guy is a steal.

Odell Beckham Jr – ($9,100) This is a dude who faces adversity time and time again. Josh Norman keeps chirping about last year, Lena Dunham is mad that he won’t hit on her at fancy events…..you know the usual off-season shenanigans. But this will not keep ODB from exploding week 1 in Dallas. He is the most talented wideout in the game as far as I’m concerned and his dance moves would make The Backstreet Boys blush.

Deandre Hopkins – ($8,400) “D-Hop” came out of left field last year. He put up numbers week in and week out, catching balls from the likes of TJ Yates and (bald headed guy). Hopkins ended up with 111 catches, over 1500 yards and 11 touchdowns. Some people may want to wait a week to see how he connects with Brock OsweIler but show me the the tallest/most athletic guy in the room and even I will get him the ball.

Amari Cooper – ($7,100) Cooper showed us last season that he will be a perennial baller for years to come. There’s a reason the second year guy out of Alabama was being drafted as a top 10 guy in fantasy drafts. Add that with the fact that he faces New Orleans and you got yourself a steal.

Coby Fleener – ($5,400) I shouted “Coby” more times than Lakers and Chapelle Show fans combined the past few weeks. Coby is now the sole tight end of Drew Brees and should put on a show week in and week out. I have him as my fifth best tight end this season and oddly enough this week too.

Mason Crosby – ($4,700) I don’t explain kickers.

Seattle Defense – ($5,000) Look at any single fantasy football  website and they will tell you Seattle is number one this week. Multiply that by my confidence that Tannehill will poop the bed on the road and count your money.
